MWP Middle & Elementary School Battle for the Ring

November 11, 2023 | November 25, 2023 | December 16, 2023 | January 13, 2024

Desert Ridge Auditorium, 10045 E Madero Ave, Mesa AZ 85209

The MWP “Battle for the Ring” Championship Tournament will consist of a total of 4 tournaments. We will be keeping track of points for every athlete in each weight class to determine who the top 4 wrestlers are at the end of the series.

New additional award to the undefeated athletes of all four tournaments. “MWP Custom Champion singlet” along with the “MWP Battle Ring”

We will be handing out medals for 1st – 4th place at each tournament.

HUGE 5-inch custom medals are handed out to the first-place winners. They are on order, and I am hoping they will be here for the first tournament in the series. If not, we will give the smaller ones first. Then when the shipment comes in, we will also give the huge 5” ones to all the first-place winners.

Team and Individual points per tournament: First place (20 points), Second place (15 points), Third place (10 points), Fourth place (5 points)

Team awards: The first 3 teams with the greatest number of points at the end of the series will receive a beautiful custom banner. It is mandatory to wrestle in the last tournament on January 14th to win the custom banner. You can miss any of the first 3 tournaments. (Of course, it’s best to do all 4 to obtain the maximum number of points possible).

                                                                                MWP “All Regionals”

The top two athletes in every weight class with the greatest number of points will be recognized with a framed All-Regionals certificate. It is mandatory to wrestle in the last tournament on January 13th to win the framed All-Regionals certificate. You can miss any of the first 3 tournaments. (Of course, it’s best to do all 4 to obtain the maximum number of points possible)

The ultimate awards for the entire series is the awesome custom championship ring and Championship Singlet. To win the ring and singlet an athlete must take first in any weight class in all 4 tournaments. These are very prestigious awards that only a few will have.
